About the job Sales Representative

The Network Sales Representative is responsible for cultivating and managing channel partner and end-user customer relationships, sales lead qualification and new business support. This critical team member will be one of the primary faces and voices of our fast-growing and technologically innovative company. Customer delight will contribute to profitable and sustainable revenue growth and will be the key focus. This team member will develop skills, knowledge, and relationships that could be leveraged for promotion to external sales, product or marketing management, or other commercial and operational functions within Altus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Primary representation assignment to company house accounts, with proactive and reactive channel partner and end-user contact to facilitate new product sales and logistical support
  • New business quote generation and Request For Pricing (RFP) response generation for house account and external sales assigned opportunities
  • Qualification of sales leads generated by Altus marketing or external entities through direct customer contact for opportunity pursuit through self or external sales team assignment.
  • Opportunity entry, data management, and minor analysis within  Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Collaboration with marketing and direct customer promotion of marketing and sales programs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, or relevant field preferred
  • 2-years-experience in inside or external sales and/or customer relations

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and data entry
  • A positive mental attitude and exceptional ability to convey confidence and to earn and maintain trust at times in stressful situations
  • A passionate desire to delight customers at all costs
  • Experience and competency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and quoting tools
  • Love of team collaboration
  • Ability to analyze problems in real-time and recommend solutions
  • Readiness and excitement to learn and develop new skills, products, and technology
  • Ability to multi-task and shift gears while remaining detail-oriented
